Speaking of online reviews, not all is peaceful in the Amazon.
In an attempt to increase the quality of their book marketplace, the online retailer has purged (potentially) thousands of suspicious reviews, leaving many writers to wonder:
We all know it’s ethically frowned upon to write reviews for your own books, much less to write fake reviews for books by other authors. It happens, though. Some even don pseudonyms and secretly promote their books on forums.
Boggles my mind.
But how should authors handle negative reader reviews? Should they respond at all?
